Brand new spa environments

The first phase of Varbergs Kusthotell’s new spa environments opens in May 2026. Two remarkable new spa levels await, renovated in harmony with the building’s form and history. Ceiling heights and rooms have been reopened, allowing light to flow through the large windows and onwards through the halls. Across the newly renovated levels 2 and 3, you’ll find, among other features, a tea room, a sun veranda with orangery, a seaweed sauna, a lounge with fireplace and service, a toiletterie, a low-temperature sauna with relaxing stone benches, a foot bath room and much more. Just outside, three new heated outdoor pools await – and, of course, the sea. A place where a rich heritage meets a new era – and where you’ll want to linger for a long time.

The sea on the grill

Restaurant Severins has also been completely refurbished. Severins is now a fish and seafood restaurant where flavours from the grill take centre stage, accompanied by carefully crafted side dishes. Every evening, we light the charcoal and bring in delicacies from the coast and the sea. The menu features both well-loved favourites and exciting new dishes to discover. At Severins, we serve our generous breakfast daily, flavourful lunches and the evening menu. Vegetarian options are available.

New Evening by the Kattegat

The New Evening by the Kattegat package is designed for those who wish to spend most of the evening in the spa environments. After an early dinner at Severins, enjoy a full evening among our brand new bathing and sauna facilities. Don’t forget an evening dip from the jetty!

Check-in is at 16:00 and check-out at 11:00, unless you have added early or late check-in as an extra.

SPA AT VARBERGS KUSTHOTELL

Move freely between three levels of spa environments, where levels 2 and 3 have been completely renovated as of spring 2026. Take a refreshing dip in the sea, then warm up in one of our sauna environments or in the new heated outdoor pools in the spa garden.

The spa area at Varbergs Kusthotell has an age limit of 13 years.

STANDARD, SUPERIOR OR TRIPLE?

Within Varbergs Kusthotell’s historic stone buildings, you’ll find a wide variety of rooms, most of which are entirely unique. Choose between Standard, Double or Superior rooms – with or without sea views. We also offer family or triple rooms for those travelling with children.
